SALIDA PRODUCTIONS was formed in 2010 by Ed Hughes, Michael Vale and Andrea Pelaez. We have been awarded a Stage One Bursary for new producers and a Unesco High Acheivement Award for Romeo and Juliet, and were  awarded a Creative Entrepreneur Award by GSMD and The City of London in conjunction with Cause4. 

Ed Hughes, a multifaceted talent as a director, producer, and actor, contributes a  versatile skill set to Salida Productions. His visionary direction breathes life into the company's endeavors, while his producing acumen ensures seamless execution. Hughes' on-screen charisma and behind-the-scenes leadership make him a cornerstone of the company's success.

Michael Vale, a distinguished theatre designer and director with over 200 productions as a designer from the RSC, National Theatre, Royal Opera House, infusing each project with his distinctive visual and narrative flair. His innovative set designs and meticulous attention to detail create immersive worlds that amplify the storytelling experience, leaving an indelible mark on audiences.

In the realm of movement, choreography and direction, Andrea Pelaez is an instrumental figure. Her creative choreographic concepts and profound understanding of physical storytelling elevate Salida Productions' performances to new heights. With a background in both dance and theatre, Andrea bridges the gap between these disciplines, adding a dynamic layer to the company's artistic vision.
